Pediasure:Review

My elder son was born with a healthy weight but from six-month onwards he showed inadequate growth. At the eighteenth month, he started showing negative growth. There were no medical conditions present. The only thing he was not gaining weight was he used to eat extremely less. For months, I have tried different ways to make him eat but ultimately lost all hope. Later, I came to know about Pediasure and started giving it to my child. And yes, within three months I saw the result. My child showed sufficient growth, and his weight was also increased. As he was an extreme picky eater and used to eat very less,  I used to supplement him with Pediasure after every meal. Even sometimes I used to replace milk and add Pediasure while preparing some meals for him.
Sometimes I feel that Pediasure is a bit pricey but maybe if the price would have been less, the product would not be the complete nutritional supplement and would have been just like any other ordinary health drink in the grocery shelf. After all it’s my child’s health, and I cannot compromise it.

What is unique about Pediasure?

* It is the most trusted product by pediatricians and nutritionists than any other nutritional supplements.
* Pediasure is a complete balanced nutrition that meets 100% of the US Dietary Reference Intakes for protein, 27 essential vitamins and minerals.
* PediaSure has a blend of prebiotic to support digestive tract health, and antioxidants to help support the immune system.
About 70% of your child’s immune system is found in the digestive tract. So, supporting the immune system starts with maintaining a healthy digestive system. Children who don’t eat fruits and vegetables might not be getting the vitamins and minerals needed to support their immune system.
Prebiotic stimulates the growth of “good” bacteria in the digestive system, which helps support your child’s immune system. Antioxidants such as vitamins C & E and selenium can help prevent and repair cell damage from free radicals.
* PediaSure drinks come in convenient, reclosable bottles in a variety of “Kid-Approved” flavors.

We used to travel a lot. While on the go, I used to carry few Pediasure bottles and some straw. I used to  feel relaxed feeling that at least he was having the proper nutrition while traveling. This had some good side effects. First, my child was happy as his stomach used to be full and so less cranky. Second, I became less tensed not always bothering at the back of my mind what to and how to feed my picky eater while on the go.

Overall, I will highly recommend Pediasure for your underweight picky eater child.
